I never understood the appeal. My Mum positively swoons over him but too me, nada. I think it's something about his facial expressions. He always looks so stern and distant and disapproving.

I think standards of male attractiveness were a little different in the 70s, but I still think this photo is hot - even though I can see the beginning of a turkey wattle. His abs and boobies didn't fall like Schwarzenegger's did.
