I am wearing my heavy large ball chain necklace given to me about 9 years ago by an ex. It means both the gift that she gave me as well as a representattion of my soul that continued to influence my clothing choices to this day.

As a rule I don’t wear Jewelry, my current wears jewelry from her ex, from me, and mostly things that she has picked up over the years…
I have a thing for pearls so most of the pieces I have given her are pearls, white, pink and Black… As far as when things end… Only the pieces that represented a specific event would I ever ask to be returned and then I would keep it or destroy it rather than ever re-gift it..

The only jewlery I wear I have bought for myself with the exception of a watch that one of my present partner's gave to me.

I have never given a new partner or playmate anything from a former one, usually all those items go with her in the relationship or if not they are sold, I cant think of a reason to keep it around.

I have never given any woman any clothing or jewelry that belonged to an ex, and the idea strikes me as kind of creepy. Certainly "a squeeze" might borrow something if the the kids don't mind. I do not wear jewelry but definitely remember who gave me other things that I may value for sentimental reasons, such as clothes. It doesn't seem prudent to mention their provenance to current lovers unless they ask, which I can scarcely imagine that they would ever do.

I don't give jewelry anymore and don't think I would give a grrl jewelry from an ex.

For me the giving of it feels like buying her off and I typically don't date hookers or buy off on the whole corporate advertising schlock of the gifts of rocks and precious metals show her you care.

As to stuff given to me... I only wear stainless steel and have a couple of bead rings in my nipples given me by an ex. haven't thought much of it since she paid for the piercings as well.
