The more influences that people are exposed to , the more intriguing they become....whether they be male of female.

You are all completely entitled to yr opinions about the best places to meet women, & what's sexy... BUT... whether you find urban women sexy or not: We ARE 'real' women. Even the ones who really need to dis-connect from their cell phones more often... just like many city men... Cities (if they are well-planned & don't sprawl too much) are wonderful! They keep people out of the country! And if we didn't have them, the world would be one big suburb in most places... *shudder*

I grew in NY, lived in Miami & Ft. Lauderdale in my early-mid 20's, & have traveled & lived in a variety of places- now in a smallish college city in OR. I did notice that you live in L.A.... & I do have the typical NYer's general dislike of that city's sprawl & plastic-ness. But even L.A. has some great people & neighborhoods, some real cultural offerings...
I'm not brainwashed, spoiled, or hooked on TV. (If I was I wouldn't speak up about this kind of stuff). I love the outdoors. I read a lot of things- including real books that challenge my mind & expand my spirit. I love fashion, but could care less about labels. I'm no slave to trends. I'd rather go to a museum or the theater or swim naked in a river than read tabloids or endlessly shop. I don't like malls much- they're suburban & boring. I mostly pay my own way.

There are many, many women like that on Tribe... & many great, bright urban women in RL. It is possible to share what yr favorites are, w/o dissing an entire range of women by making sweeping negative generalizations... not very sexy. Urban/sophisticated/educated doesn't automatically mean spoiled any more for women than it does for men... Sounds like y'all been hanging out w/ the wrong people...

Isn't it the less-sophisticated, less well-read people who are more prone to stuff like being hooked on tabloids, wherever they live? I know there are smart interesting people in the country & small towns, too... I've met many. My Dad always told me not to judge people on their accents...
But there's also more often a lack of breadth of experience, lack of exposure to different types of people & cultures... & a narrowness that can come from that ignorance
